Update on Jamaica’s at yesterday’s IAAF World Challenge in Berlin, Germany:
Kemar Bailey-Cole equaled his personal best to win the IAAF World Challenge 100m race in a time of 10.00 seconds. Fellow Jamaicans Mario Forsythe (10.19) and Michael Frater (10.20) finished in fifth and sixth respectively.
Kerron Stewart ran a time of 11.27 seconds to place second in the women’s 100m sprint behind Trinidad and Tobago’s Kelly-Ann Baptiste (11.25).
Leford Green clocked 49.06 seconds to take a runner-up spot in the 400m hurdles behind Olympic champion Felix Sanchez of the Dominican Republic (48.89).
Shermaine Williams (12.90) finished fourth in the women’s sprint hurdles race which was won by American Kellie Wells (12.72).
