Lerone Clarke & Veronica Campbell-Brown 1st & 2nd At USA Track & Field Classic

Jamaica’s Pan Am Games 100m winner, Lerone Clarke, sprinted to victory in the 60m at the USA Track & Field Classic on Saturday, February 11. Clarke ran a world-leading time of 6.52, followed by Americans Justin Gatlin in second and Trell Kimmons in third, both in 6.57.

Sprint queen, Veronica Campbell-Brown, was beaten into second place in the women’s 60 m final with a time of 7.08 seconds behind Tianna Madison, who won in 7.02. Christine Ahoure of the Ivory Coast was third in 7.09, while American Allyson Felix finished fourth in 7.11.
